Pre-installation - your responsibilities
 

Prior to the engineer visit, you must ensure the following.

Step Process
One That (if required) all Planning Permission and/or landlord approvals have been obtained.

Two That any 'environmental' or physical work identified during the order process has been carried out
(eg roof repairs, removal of obstructions to the 'line of sight' etc)

Three Have the minimum specification PC ready for the installation of the satellite customer premises equipment, drivers and software.

Four Have a 'hub'/LAN for connection of multiple PCs (Satellite 500/4)

Five Have a spare USB port (Satellite 500/1) or an ethernet connection

Six That there is an on-site technical contact to whom the engineer can demonstrate the working service.

Seven Be aware of the LAN configuration requirements (configuration is the customer's responsibility).
