- needs Windows ME or Windows 2000
BT Business Satellite 500/4 - multiple computer access/small to medium-sized business

The Satellite 500/4 service provides an IP-based ethernet network interface which enables network equipment to be used with the service. Up to four PCs (including Windows PCs, Macs or Linux workstations) can be connected to the service using an ethernet hub. Alternatively, a small. LAN can be connected to the service. The satellite capacity provisioning rules for the Satellite 500/4 service take anticipated increased levels of traffic into consideration and, as a result, Satellite 500/4 customers effectively share satellite capacity with fewer customers than those with the Business 500/1 service.
